Accountability

Every school and school district that accepts public funds is held accountable for student learning through the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) program. Schools and districts are measured in two accountability systems.

Best Practices Spotlight Teachers in LEUSD

Each month the LEUSD recognizes teachers from each grade level who have developed “Best Practice” lessons to ensure students master the content standards, based on student achievement data. These teachers are asked to submit their strategies and materials to be posted on the LEUSD Best Practices web site, so that others may access and utilize their materials.
